Over the past few years, the world has been navigating through a series of interconnected and enduring crises that have prompted fundamental change on our societies and economies. Breaking the vicious cycle requires immediate action. G7 Public Development Banks and Development Finance Institutions emerge as key players in both fostering conditions for and contribute to long-term investments and leverage private capital, supporting the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development implementation.

The G7 Development Finance High-level Dialogue took place as a pivotal gathering between G7 Public Development Banks and Development Finance Institutions, African regional and national development banks and international institutions. This gathering was as a nexus for ideas, innovation, and strategic planning, underscoring the G7 PDBs and DFIs collective commitment to seek the partnership of regional and national actors to steer their meaningful contribution to global development challenges, with a particular focus on the African continent, in view of the G7 Apulia Summit in June 2024.
