Seventh edition for the event bringing together the main players involved in promoting new forms of living. The winning videos of the Living Better Contest shown at the opening
CDP recounts the commitment to social housing and urban regeneration at the seventh edition of Urban Promo Social Housing, the reference event on social housing organized by the Istituto Nazionale di Urbanistica and Urbit.
The main players in social housing are meeting in Turin at Open Incet for two days of discussion and debate on the trends and best practices to be put in place to support the expansion of an industry capable of combining the values of innovation and sustainability. CDP’s participation in the event is in line with its commitment to supporting and promoting alternative forms of living, in which the concepts of sharing, collaboration and innovation prevail.
Ideas found are communicated in the videos awarded under the Living Better contest, shown at the event’s opening. The competition, promoted by CDP and launched during Urbanpromo 2016, has allowed us to tell with simplicity and immediacy what it means to choose social housing and the benefits that come from this choice.
From motion graphic to sequencing plans, award-winning video makers have used a variety of techniques to discuss the potential of "living together" through CDP and the highly disseminated partner foundations that have become ambassadors of this new concept of living in these months.
Urbanpromo 2017 is therefore an opportunity to reflect on the need to spread to a wider audience the benefits of social housing and Urban Transformation within the Open Incet framework, which bears witness to the results of the urban regeneration process. The venue of the event is, in fact, a former industrial complex converted to the center for transforming ideas, research and technology into shared value for the land and represents, therefore, a signal of rebirth of a large area of the Piedmontese capital.
CDP confirms, through participation in the event, the commitment to the promotion of innovative and sustainable housing solutions.
