Apartments, commercial premises, green spaces and other services to redevelop the Rogoredo district
In Milan, with an investment of more than €71.5 million, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has built Redo, a smart district of 615 apartments, commercial premises, green spaces and other services. Built on a concept of sustainability that focuses on people, families and sociality, Redo was completed in 2020, to redevelop and give new life to the Rogoredo-Santa Giulia neighbourhood in Milan.
A new urban planning concept that, thanks to the commitment of CDP, through the Fondo Immobiliare di Lombardia, will transform the Milanese suburbs, making Redo one of the city's most innovative hubs and a centre for metropolitan relations in south-east Milan. The project has been built along an avenue overlooked by a complex system of open and covered courtyards. The central street ends in a large square to the north, where commercial and everyday services are concentrated.
Innovative lines and structures have been brought to life thanks to the commitment of six architectural firms, seven engineering companies and various technology partners, who together with CDP have contributed to realising this sustainable and design-oriented project that, through cutting-edge technology infrastructures, will take the Milanese suburbs in a new direction.
