Thanks to the work of the CDP Group, Italy is the top European Union Juncker Plan beneficiary - said EU Commission vice president for growth Jyrki Katainen.
The role of the National Institute of Promotion makes Group CDP the "best in Europe for equity financing" and leadership "very active right from 'start to the opportunities offered by the Plan."
They also contributed to the success of the Italian public authorities who were "very active in promoting the Efsi", while "the banking sector has shown itself to be alert to this kind of opportunity."
Efsi has signed 28 agreements with financial intermediaries in favor of access to credit for "50 thousand Italian SMEs" amounting to 353 million euros, having the further effect of 7.8 billion euros.
Eight projects so far are have been selected to benefit from the Investment Fund, for a total of 1.4 billion euros expected to generate more than 4.9 billion in investments.
