A capital increase to support research and development of the commercialisation of Mindlenses prismatic lenses
Developing and marketing new telemedicine solutions to facilitate the de-hospitalisation of patients with neurological diseases on Italian and foreign markets. This is the aim of Restorative Neurotechnologies, a start-up company from Palermo, Italy, that designs and develops medical devices and innovative solutions for rehabilitation and cognitive improvement.
Through the Fondo Italia Venture II - Fondo Imprese Sud of CDP Venture Capital Sgr, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, together with other investors, has financed a €1 million capital increase for this hi-tech biomedical company of excellence, a spin-off of the University of Palermo, founded by Massimiliano Oliveri, Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience,
The Sicilian start-up, supported by the ARCA Consortium and EIT Health, has developed the Mindlenses prismatic lens, an innovative device for cognitive rehabilitation that influences brain activity, improving functions such as attention, memory and language for non-invasive neurorehabilitation of individuals recovering from stroke or suffering from neurodegenerative or neurodevelopmental diseases.
The capital raised will be used to support the research and development of the marketing of Mindlenses on Italian and foreign markets.
