Rome, 25 March 2014 - Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (CDP) announces today the issuance of 250 million euro fixed to floating rate notes, unsubordinated and unsecured, with final maturity 25 March 2024.
Rome, 25 March 2014 - Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (CDP) announces today the issuance of 250 million euro fixed to floating rate notes, unsubordinated and unsecured, with final maturity 25 March 2024. The coupon is fixed for the first three years and linked to CMS 20 years for the following years.
The Notes (ISIN code: IT0005008484) were issued under CDP Euro Medium Term Note Programme, listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and addressed to institutional investors.
The net proceeds deriving from this issue will be used by CDP to support the so-called “Separate Account”, that is all the activities which, under applicable regulations, may be funded also through Postal Savings (such as lending to Public Entities, support for the economy, public interest infrastructures).
The Notes were placed through private placement, with Morgan Stanley & Co acting as dealer of the transaction.
The Notes, listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, have been rated BBB+ by Fitch, Baa2 by Moody’s and BBB by Standard and Poor's.
