CDP announces that the Board of Directors, meeting today under the chairmanship of Franco Bassanini, has increased the ceiling on CDP’s Euro Medium-Term Notes Programme (EMTN) from €4 billion to €8 billion. The Board authorised the issue under the Programme of new securities of up to a maximum of €3 billion by 31 December 2013. The move is intended to satisfy increased need on the lending front using this form of funding as well. CDP will announce the issues as they are carried out in implementation of this authorisation.
