The birth of high level managerial training for managers working for Italy

In a rapidly changing world, building a system and supporting growth means knowing how to find and connect with the key sectors for tomorrow's development: from digital to aerospace, artificial intelligence to agri-food, energy to tourism, these are just a few examples of such sectors. And this means pooling and sharing the skills and development paths of the CDP Group's approximately 2200 employees and its network of industrial excellence.

With these objectives in mind, the CDP Academy has launched its Corporate MBA, the first advanced training project for new managers working for Italy. It involves CDP Group companies and eight investee companies (Ansaldo Energia, Fincantieri, Italgas, Open Fiber, Poste, SIA, Snam and Terna).

The masters, launched on 27 January by CDP Chairman Giovanni Gorno Tempini and Chief Executive Officer Fabrizio Palermo, is run in collaboration with the Luiss Business School and will see professionals and managers from Group companies take the lead in teaching. 30 people were selected for the first two year programme, after a highly competitive multi-stage process with over 500 candidates.
